Open Singing

The Turkish State Choir held its first event on December 12, 2021, in the Historical Hall of CSO Ada Ankara, with participants from all over the country, as part of World Choir Day activities celebrated annually on the second Sunday of December, with the contributions of the Choral Culture Association.

As part of these events, which allow for both individual and choral participation, a grand Republic celebration was organized on October 26-27, 2023, in the Main Hall of CSO Ada Ankara. This event, marking the 100th anniversary of the Republic, featured 26 choirs from 9 provinces, with a total of 1,500 active participants and approximately 7,000 spectators.

For the 2023-2024 art season, the Turkish State Choir organized a notable event format called "Open Singing" On January 20-21, 2024, the choir held a series of concerts in the Historical Hall of CSO Ada Ankara with participating choirs and individual participants from across the country. Subsequently, an event titled "Choirs Gathering: Open Singing" took place in the Main Hall of CSO Ada Ankara with approximately 1,500 participants. Additionally, a special concert titled "April 23 Future in Many Voices Children's Festival," conducted by the Turkish State Children's Choir, was held as part of the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebrations in 2024.

In addition to organizing events with the "Open Singing" concept, the choir sometimes involves the audience in their concerts, allowing them to actively participate and become a part of the music.
